Rajasthan Forts & Palaces Tour

Day 1 - Delhi:
Pickup from airport in the evening and assist on arrival in Delhi and transfer
to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi:
Full day sightseeing of Old & New Delhi, visiting the historic Red Fort,
Jama Masjid (the largest Mosque in India), Raj Ghat, (Mahatma Gandhi's Memorial
site). Afternoon pass through Sir Edwin Lutyen's master piece city of New
Delhi, visiting the President's House, India Gate, Connaught Place. The
evening is at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi - Mandawa:
Early morning leave after breakfast for Mandawa located in the Shekawati
region of North - West Rajasthan. Afterlunch visit local bazaar and colorful
havelis ( palaces). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - Mandawa - Bikaner :
After early morning breakfast leave for Bikaner, famous for Camel Breeding
Farms and heavily fortified fort city and colorful people. Afternoon, visit
fort & the local Camel Breeding Farm. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 - Bikaner - Khimsar (Via Nagaur):
Morning leave for Nagaur , a desert town noted for its fine fort and proceed
to visit the Royal castle at Khimsar. Evening, drive into the desert to
see the sunset and to spot Antelopes, Peacocks and Deer & overnight
at the hotel.
Day 6 - Khimsar - Jaisalmer:
After breakfast proceed to Jaisalmer enroute visit the famous Hindu Jain
Temples at Osiyan. Ancient city of Jaisalmer is one of

India's most beautiful,
colorful & fascinating border area of India. On arrival check into hotel.
In the evening a camel ride to visit the Sand Dunes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 - Jaisalmer:
After breakfast half day city tour of Havelis, Fort and temples. Afternoon,
drive to the outskirts of the city to see Amar Sagar lake and to Sunset
Point for a superb view of the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur:
After breakfast leave for the city of 15th century massive fort in the most
spectacular of cliff top settings, called Jodhpur.In the afternoon, explore
the busy streets and bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 - Jodhpur:
After breakfast visit Bishnoi village, where witness and meet colorful trible
people and their rural life. Afternoon sight seeing excursion to visit the
magnificent Meherangarh fort. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Jodhpur - Kumbhalgarh:
After breakfast drive to Kumbalgarh, enroute visit the countryside to see
the beautiful Jain temples at Ranakpur. After check-in, visit through the
villages to the beautiful and well maintained fort at Kumbalgarh. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 11 - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur:
After breakfast drive to Udaipur, the romantic city of Rajasthan, visiting
en-route the temples at Eklingji and Nagda. Check into

hotel in Udaipur
and overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - Udaipur:
A full day city tour of Sahelion Ki Bari, Jagdish Temple and Gulab Niwas
Garden. After lunch visit Palaces and Museum dedicated to Rajasthani arts,
crafts and Traditions. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 - Udaipur - Junia:
After breakfast drive to Junia, enroute visit place of Rajput resistance
against Mughal ruler called Chittorgarh, the Tower of Victory. Later on
arrival in the interesting village of Junia view the beautiful insight into
the life of rural India and its people. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 - Junia - Jaipur:
After breakfast drive to the colorful city Jaipur. On arrival check in to
hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 - Jaipur:
Early morning after breakfast, visit Amber Fort and enjoy an Elephant ride
to reach top of the Fort to visit Jagmandir or the chamber of glittering
mirrors and Jai Mahal. Afternoon sightseeing tour of this magnificent "Pink
City" visiting "Hawa Mahal" (Palace of Winds), the Observatory,
City Palace, the Crafts centre & colorful bazaars. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 16 - Jaipur - Agra: (via Sikri):
Morning leave for Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar
in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. After check
into hotel, visit graceful Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal and other places. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 17 - Agra-New Delhi:
After breakfast visit world famous and the only monument of Love, 'The Taj
Mahal'. Taj Mahal is built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his
Queen Mumtaz to enshrine her mortal remains. After lunch drive to Delhi
and departure for final destinations.
